System Architecture

The Specialist PlanningShuttle Plans System is a web application implemented using the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 and 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. It utilises C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net and other Microsoft programming technologies.

Running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and using IIS 6.0, the application represent stable and well supported infrastructure configuration. Access to the site is gained using Internet browser technology, specifically IE7 or IE8. Reports can be generated in Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports Viewer formats.

End user Requirements

To run Specialist PlanningShuttle Plans System, the following software will need to be installed on all user workstations:

  • Windows XP and above

  • IE7 or IE8

  • Adobe Reader 8.0 and above

  • Latest Microsoft Silverlight

  • ADSL2 or Fast internet connection
