Free text areas allows you to add text inputs. For example, a free text area can be added to the introductory stage to record reasons as to why a service is delivered and what are the key motivators (strategic, legislation, political, etc.). Also, it may be used in the sign off stage to allow users to type in a summary, conclusions or recommendations.
