Configuring Project Data (IPM)

 

Ability to view and analyse Project (retrieved from IPMProject)  information within relevant Power Data widgets.

Basic Properties

It will allow the user to configure the Title, Left, Top, Width and Height.

Display Objects

Following display objects are available for Project data. the ‘Edit’ area of the existing control will give the following  options:In Display Object section, ‘Type’ drop down – there is a new option for  Project.

Property Name Description
Business Unit This filter must contain the entire organisation hierarchy tree, where users can traverse and select one or more BUs (refer Figure 3). Selecting a higher level (e.g. Directorate or Organisation) will automatically select all its child units.
Project Closed

                                     This filter must contain the values of the ‘Is Close’ field in IPM, which indicates whether the project is Open (on-going) or Closed (completed). There must be an ‘All’ option, which should be the default.

Project Category

                                    This filter must contain the values of the ‘Category’ field in Project Details object of IPM. There must be an ‘All’ option, which should be the default.

Project Type this filter (a listbox) must contain all the different project types (as setup in IPM). Similar to project status, users must able to select one or more types, and all must be selected by default.
Project Manager This filter must contain a dropdown list of all active staff. This will narrow down the projects listed to the ones where the selected user is assigned the role of ‘Project Manager’ in Project Board & Team object. There must be an option ‘All’ which should be selected by default.
Project Owner This filter must contain a dropdown list of all active staff. This will narrow down the projects listed to the ones which are owned by the selected user. There must be an option ‘All’ which should be selected by default.
Project Sponsor   This filter must contain a dropdown list of all active staff. This will narrow down the projects listed to the ones which are sponsored by the selected user. There must be an option ‘All’ which should be selected by default.
Business Object this must list out all Projects within the selected business units with a check box against each.

The existing Donut control must be capable of loading Projects (created in IPM) as its data source.
