Description

PES is a web application implemented using the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 and 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.  It utilises C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, MS Silverlight and other Microsoft programming technologies.

Running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 and using IIS 6.0/7.0, Sycle represents a stable and well supported infrastructure configuration.  Access to the site is gained using Internet browser technology. Recommended version for this is Internet Explorer 8. Reports can be generated in Adobe Acrobat (PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports Viewer formats. Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 must be installed on all user workstations.

End user Requirements

To run PES the following software will need to be installed on all user workstations:

• Windows XP and above
• IE9, IE10 and IE11 (The application is best viewed in IE 9.0 standard version with 1024*768 resolutions).
• Adobe Reader 8.0 and above
• Latest Microsoft Silverlight
• ADSL2 or Fast internet connection
• The application is currently not certified for IE 6 compatibility.
