Creating a Business Plan

STEP 1: The following interface is displayed, where the initial details of the business plan can be specified.

Alternative ways to  access this page are;

Homepage > 'Create new business plan' button at the bottom of the page

or

Home Page > 'Getting Started' > 'Start Planning'

or

Create Business Plan menu option available from the top menu of every page in this area

 

STEP 2: Specify the following details to create a new plan:

Field

Description

Mandatory/Optional

Plan Name

Specify a plan name.

System Period

Select the system period. The system only deals with interplan® data that belong to the specified time period.

Business Unit

The business units which were defined within the application are available for selection.

Mandatory

Workflow

Workflows which were defined in 'Administration' section are loaded. The phases and elements of the new business plan is set according to the selected workflow.

Reporting Period

Select the period (year) from the dropdown list.

Responsible Officer

Select a staff member who acts as the responsible officer for the business plan from the drop down list.

STEP 3: Click 'Next' to move to the 'Process Overview' screen.
